The CHALLENGE CANBERRA 100 run course promises a truly spectacular experience. Very similar to last years half course the two-lap spectator friendly route showcases some of Canberra’s most iconic locations. Runners will start at Commonwealth Place and cross Kings Avenue Bridge into the picturesque Commonwealth Park before continuing along the scenic central basin foreshore.
The course then loops under Kings Avenue Bridge toward the Boathouse Restaurant, before heading back across the bridge and through the National Gallery of Australia’s stunning Sculpture Garden. With five well-placed aid stations along the 10km course, athletes will have ample opportunities to stay hydrated.
Relatively flat and fast, this course is designed for speed, atmosphere, and scenery—offering an unforgettable race-day experience. The finish line awaits on the lawns of John Dunmore Lang Place, directly in front of Old Parliament House—one of the most iconic finish backdrops in Australian triathlon.
