Challenge Canberra – Super Sprint Triathlon (300m Swim | 8.4km Bike | 2.8km Run)
CHALLENGE CANBERRA continues the Super Sprint — the perfect event for newcomers to triathlon who want to be part of a major multisport festival.
Athletes will start with a 300m open-water swim off Black Mountain Peninsula, in calm, sheltered waters that are ideal for first-timers. The 8.4km bike leg features a fast and slightly technical single lap, offering just the right mix of challenge and confidence-building turns.
Then it’s onto the 2.8km run course, winding along the lake’s edge and through the shaded parklands of Black Mountain Peninsula. It’s a beautiful, relaxed run shared only with your fellow competitors and cheering supporters.
Whether you’re racing friends, family, or simply yourself, the Super Sprint is an inviting and rewarding way to experience triathlon — fun, safe, and achievable for all ages and levels.
