The bike course has slightly changed for 2024 and will highly likely stay like this going forward. There is a new opportunity to set a fast bike course record over this magnificent and challenging closed course that takes you up Canberra’s main Parkway that connects South and North Canberra. A nice little gradual climb on each of the 3 laps. As you launch back down the hill you might just have time to enjoy the views of Canberra. The pros ran out of gears coming down this hill last year so you may need to assess your gearing. After athletes descend everyone will then have a chance to unleash on fast flat hot mix roads before heading into T2.
