Get ready to gear up and be a part of the Challenge Canberra TriClub Championships. That’s right an opportunity for Australian Tri Clubs to really show their dominance with 2 TriClub divisions.
Division 1: Under 10 participants
Division 2: Over 10 participants
Here is a quick rundown what is going on: The TriClub Title involves the combined efforts of the top 10 athletes in your club with the highest Age Group finish position across all four Challenge Canberra events – Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic, Middle and Aquabike (Olympic/Middle). The highest total score of your clubs best 10 results will take the title. Clubs will be awarded points for participation. Points scoring system coming soon.
Challenge Canberra is all about the athlete and clubs making it inclusive of all athletes racing for their club in any of the events. A great reason not to just bring your long course athletes but bring your short course super star athletes as well and go for the points.
What are we racing for? Club pride, bragging rights and of course, the Challenge Canberra TriClub Championships title. The top three clubs in each division will be awarded trophies and entries for their team in 2025. Here are the prizes for Challenge Canberra TriClub Championships (in each division):
- 1st place: Trophy + 3 x race entries (any distance)
- 2nd place: Trophy + 2 x race entries (any distance)
- 3rd place: Trophy + 1 x race entries (any distance)
Clubs may use these race entries for your clubs athletes as rewards or the best performing athletes – it is up to you.
Keen, of course you are! Clubs, make sure when your athletes are registering you select your club so that we can identify your members and allocate the correct points. Challenge Canberra TriClub Champions will be announced within 2 weeks of the completion of events. Results need to be ratified before we can do the tally.
