CHALLENGEAUSTRALIA starts with 1 swim lap of 3.8 kilometers in the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin. A staggered start with 4-5 athletes every 5 secs for this year off the jetty of Commonwealth Place foreshore. Spectators can view the whole swim and cheer their loved ones on. Athletes then make the 150m run to transition.

The updated CHALLENGECANBERRA100 bike course now features a thrilling section along Majura Parkway — a long, smooth stretch of road where athletes can hit speeds of up to 50km/h with ease. Aero bikes will be the weapon of choice, and personal bests are waiting to be broken.
But it’s more than just speed. As you power through the course, take in the sweeping views of Canberra’s natural beauty and iconic landmarks. It’s a perfect balance of performance and inspiration — a reminder of what makes triathlon such an incredible journey.

Bike Cut Off Time – TBA – athlete must be off the Majura Parkway.
If participants do not make it to these markers at these times they will be put in the sag wagon and taken to transition to complete the run leg. All athletes are encouraged to finish.
