Challenge Canberra! Challenge 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run! This spectacular race will be held over two days, Saturday 15 November and Sunday 16 November 2025! The flagship middle distance event is also a World Qualifying Event for 2026 Multi Sports World Championships in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Canberra is the Capital of Australia and is accessible from every city in Australia and only a three hour drive from Sydney. The airport is only 6km from the city with bundles of accommodation available and riding distance to the event site.

The new Challenge Canberra course is one of the most exciting courses in Australia with iconic landmarks and a scenic course that starts in the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin, a swim course that allows for all those supporters to watch every stroke you do from start to finish.

Get ready to experience one of the fastest bike courses on the Australian triathlon circuit. The updated CHALLENGECANBERRA bike course now features a thrilling section along Majura Parkway — a long, smooth stretch of road where athletes can hit speeds of up to 50km/h with ease. Aero bikes will be the weapon of choice, and personal bests are waiting to be broken.

This is your chance to push limits, embrace the challenge, and be part of something special. The CHALLENGECANBERRA bike course is ready. Are you?

From there, you’ll head out onto our newly designed run course, leading you toward Commonwealth Park via a scenic pathway with minimal public interaction. For the most part, you’ll have free rein of this stunning route as it winds around Lake Burley Griffin and through the National Gallery Sculpture Gardens.

This is now a 10km run featuring five well-stocked aid stations and a spectacular finish line just a few hundred metres from Old Parliament House. It doesn’t get more iconic than that.
