In 2024 we have made some slight adjustments to the run course that will provide all athletes with a cleaner run course with more aid stations. After a fast bike athletes will head out onto the new three lap 7km run along the Lake Burley Griffin foreshore but before you enjoy this you get to run through the beautiful Commonwealth Park as the run route takes you around the Nerang Pond and out onto the foreshore, across Commonwealth Bridge with views of Australia’s Parliament House right in front of you and the National Museum of Australia on your right.
You then run down and around the beautiful Lennox Gardens with a couple of opportunities to refuel. As you make your way back to the race venue you will be sure to see your squad mates and friends on the course or along the course. The very fast and flat course will see some superfast run splits again, with plenty of people cheering you on to the finish line at Rond Terrace.
